Why should I hire a Planner if I can't afford one.

"As a Bride, give me 3 good reasons why I should hire a Wedding Planner?

Well folks, the answer to that question is quite simple, but most important, you can not afford not to have one:

1. If you are not experienced in planning anything, you will most likely fall for everything that looks, smells and feels good.

2. Planners can get you deals and discounts that you can not get on your own

3. Being on a tight budget doesn't mean cutting corners. A Planner knows how to make your dollars stretch and how to expand your "beer budget" into a hall of GLAM!!

Example: A bride KNEW she needed a Planner and wanted to get one. Her mother who was paying for the wedding stated" I don't have money to waste on a Wedding Planner". "My sister handles gatherings at the church and she offered her services as a gift". Six months later after the wedding occurred, I asked the mother how was her daughters ceremony. With much surprise, she could not bear to look at me directly. After 10 minutes of wooing and hawing, she finally confessed of the sorrow and frustration she experienced at the wedding. Although she thought she was saving a few hundred dollars, there was no price that she could pay for missing the most sacred moment of the day. She did not get to see her beautiful daughter stroll down the aisle. Although the sister could handle the small church gatherings, she had no idea of what to expect with over 250 guest. A picture perfect moment cannot be recaptured.
