Although this picture may be somewhat comical, technically, this is what should happen when you fail to make confirmation. There is a very important message in the madness. Planning a wedding or special event can be very cumbersome and stressful. One of the most overwhelming part of planning is creating a guest list. Surely you may want to invite numerous guests; however, your list will be determined by 2 main factors-the budget and the venue. Please do not assume that there would be a vacant seat awaiting you. Remember, "there was no room in the Inn." For as important as you may be to the bride and groom or the person who is planning the event, a "RSVP" has a purpose. In order to maintain a budget, you must be on point with your attendees. Since everyone can't be invited, you should be honored and consider yourself very important if you received an invite. With that being said, please be mindful and considerate and confirm your attendance for an event by the deadline.
